Hey there all!
Home again! Actually, I got home about 2 weeks ago now, but I've been quite busy (sleeping ) and haven't been online a whole load.
So basically, to sum up my trip!
From the start of June to the end of August, I was working in a performing arts summer camp in upstate New York, called Frenchwoods (go google it if you're interested), working in Costuming.
Two words to sum up my experience: Never. Again.
That's not to say I didn't enjoy some of it, we were often out drinking And working in costume, I got to dress up a lot which was always fun.
After that, I stayed in New York for 4 nights, did the tourist thing around Central Park and Time Square, then flew back over to San Francisco to stay with my aunt. Met amazing people and had a shitload of fun too.
After two weeks there, I continued on to the UK. Went up and stayed with my Aunt in a little town called Thorne, then went and stayed with a friend from camp, Kate, in Gainsborough. It was here that I met Andy. Andy is amazing and fun and just awesome.
After that, I went up to Glasgow to stay with Elaine, another girl from camp, and caught up with a group of camp people which was mad fun.
Then I went back down to London for 4 nights, did the tourist thing again, then caught the train to Paris!
Which I so didn't enjoy at all. It frustrated me that I couldn't understand the language and it certainly didn't help that I ran out of money completely at one point (had to make the first and only emergency phone call home for money, with only 2 days before coming home, which I think is quite an achievement!). Thankfully, the guys that ran the hotel I stayed at let me use their phone and internet for free and actually bought me dinner one night!
After that, I flew to Hong Kong for one night, and stayed in THE MOST AMAZING hotel XD
The room was huge and just so nice after 4 months of staying in tiny rooms and hostels, sharing rooms and bathrooms with up to 9 other people.
Left my phone there though, which I feel so damn stupid for doing.
Having said all that though, I'm bloody glad to be home.
It's so nice to sleep in my own bed and see my friends and all that.
In recent news, I'm now doing photography modelling, which I've wanted to get into for quite a while now!
Wicked fun!
